The school’s founder and owner is Adam Øen – a graduate of three British universities: Lincoln University, Manchester University and Oxford University. He spent most of his life abroad. He lived in Norway as a child and then spent five years in England, where he studied and gained professional qualifications. Staying abroad for many years allowed him to master spoken and written English, learn about Western culture and gain the unique experience of studying at the world’s most prestigious schools. Exposure to the Anglo-Saxon education system allowed him to dramatically change his approach to learning and teaching. In 2015, he had the opportunity to study at a college under the supervision of professor of English Sandie Stratford and later on become certified to teach English. He then continued his education with a certificate in psychology earned at Oxford University. In addition, he holds an IELTS certificate and a Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English.
After returning to Poland, he worked in 3 language schools, as an English tutor, and a home education teacher in England and Germany. In 2021, he created The Royal English – the only language school in Poland run exclusively by native speakers and language practitioners.

The Royal English bases its teaching on Oxford University’s tutorial and supervision methodology, which has been recognized as the most effective teaching method in the world. Thanks to it, all students are able to learn a language 10 times faster compared to conventional education. The school faithfully reflects the British model of higher education. In addition, we believe that modern education is a process of forming strong bonds with students, based on mutual trust and respect. In their work with the student, our tutors act as guides who, by sharing their knowledge with others, awaken the student’s passion and curiosity for the language. Classes are practical, without unnecessary theory. Classes are held remotely via Skype and Google Meet individually or in small groups. The entire program is tailored to the needs of students so that they can get the most out of the classes. We use only the best resources and original teaching materials.
